I was searching for anything about Rasilient in the Search engine because they want to have a meet-and-greet with my office. It was back in 2013 when an IPVM member last inquired about this video storage company.
They recently met with my counterparts back in our main office and now they want to meet with me. I've never heard of them but here's what their marking materials claim:
"Rasilient Systems’ is the world’s leading provider of IP video surveillance and storage systems purposely architected [sic] to capture all your critical IP video data. Our patented NFD technology eliminates missing crucial frames protecting you from unwarranted losses and incidents that would lead to law suits. Since 2001, Rasilient has been installed worldwide in places that demand ultimate video surveillance quality and reliability. They include education, financial institutions and mints, government entities, renowned museums, gaming, stadiums/arenas and other video critical applications"
"All we do is video surveillance and because our products are not converted IT data products they will provide you with guaranteed performance, extraordinary reliability, easy installation, surveillance specific diagnostic tools as well as significant cost savings. Rasilient’s agnostic/open server/storage platforms enables customers the ability to choose & change their VMS (Video Management Solution) of choice and not be locked into a proprietary hardware system."
"Rasilient’s patented NFD technologies focuses on delivering superior video data recording performance through optimizing video streams to eliminate recording gaps and provide extraordinary reliability, efficiency and scalability in storage."
Okay, I know it's "marketing material" but this seems a little over-the-top to me.
Does anyone have experience with them, their product, seen them at a convention, tested their product? I'd like some input before I agree to meet with them.
