No More Ransom is offering decryption keys/solutions for a number of common ransomwares to help victims recover data without having to pay the ransom.
Ransomware has not been as large of an issue in security/surveillance as backdoors and buffer overflow exploits, but it has occurred (Genetec/MPD, Ransomware concerns, Wanna Cry, etc.).
