Questions Updates/Support Agreements For Avigilon, Milestone, AD Videoedge, Genetec

Trying to gather some information regarding getting software updates and SSA requirements from some of these companies Aviligion, Milestone, TYCO JCI, Genetec.

Aviligion - is there a SSA Requirement lock for only Integrator/partner able to install software updates/patches? Can customers update/patch themselves? on the website it seems like end users customers can download updates to update/patch themselves. Correct me if im wrong
