I'm hearing rumors from an existing Qognify (NICE) customer that Qognify is prepping for sale. According to this very large end-user, a lot of sales and high dollar people have been cut loose, and updates have become quite infrequent. Has anyone heard anything to confirm or deny?

May 31, 2018#1, I don't follow Qognify closely enough to know clearly. I do know that at least a handful of sales people left in the past 6 months but not sure if it's normal activity or not.
I reached out to Qognify for comment, no response.
Btw, background, in 2015, NICE sold off its video surveillance business for $85 million + incentives to an investment firm.

May 31, 2018Given that Qognify is now owned by a PE / investment firm, that means they're pretty much always for sale if the price is right ... and that everything they do in the meantime will be in building their acquisition value (increasing profit / cut costs etc).

Forget the Price is Right, before they can make the Sale of the Century, they need to get over to the Wheel of Fortune and buy a vowel, preferably a “U”.
Its been a couple years and I still can’t look at their company name without feeling a profound uneasiness.
