We have a Hikvision DS-2CD2542FWD-ISB that will have a washed out purple image after a few days. If we reboot the camera it comes back fine but after a day or two it will come back after switching from night to day. Any suggestions other than RMAing it?

Without seeing the image, it seems like an IR cut filter issue. Reboot may be resetting the cut filter. Try to to manually move the filter by switching D/N mode to forced night, then forced day. In any case, likely an RMA will be needed.
I agree that an IR cut filter is the most likely cause. It's probably best to get an RMA rather than spending more time on a potentially faulty part.
