There has been much discussion and debate about the best method for preventing corrosion of RJ45 connectors and jacks. I've heard all sorts of recommendations and condemnations. I propose that IPVM perform a formal, technologically valid test of the different anti-corrosion coatings and connector types to determine what actually is best.
I think this test could benefit us all. Here is my proposal:
