I have a rather large customer that has requested us to look into the feasibility of enabling a privacy mask feature upon export of the video image or clip. Anyone ever seen this? Until it is exported, the customer sees all. The masking feature or "zone" would be enabled before it goes public. Thanks,

All of the Milestone XProtect versions of software have the capability of adding a privacy mask on the exported video. This video shows how it is created starting at around the 2:40 mark. In the video, they don't save the privacy mask so you don't see how it shows up but it just blacks out whatever area is masked.

Sep 13, 2016Samsung/Hanwha SSM software has a masking backup finction. You can draw a zone and enter what time in the clip the mask should appear. You can draw multiple zones that appear at various times.
