We have been trying to help a client that has a small 6 door access control system. The system is Bluewave Security. The current problem is a laptop that "came with the system". It is running Windows 10 and the Bluewave software. Everything works well until the laptop either locks up or stops working due to needed updates. Surely there must be a better platform to run this Bluewave software? We have Kantech systems that have been running for years on the Entevo server and have not really needed touched.
I asked Bluewave tech support what they recommend and did not feel that I got a very clear answer. Example: Tech "Windows Server" me "seems like an expensive option, system came from Bluewave with Windows 10?" Tech-"Windows 10 is fine".....
