Passwords On Cameras
See this. Worst passwords of 2013
Are you using any of these? (Dont' post your answer!)
Are your cameras capable of using passwords this long? I've seen cameras that could not handle 123456789 as a password because that's longer than 7 characters.
Does your VMS insist you use (strange/weak/default/short/cleartext) passwords for the cameras it connects to?
I do hacker lectures for ASIS and related audiences and too too many of these people find it disturbing that I suggest four character numeric passwords are perhaps too weak.

Well, probably more than half the industry uses #12 as a default, so I guess we're screwed.
According to a previous poll, more than half of our members say they never use default passwords, so that's some reassurance I guess?
