Watch the video below to see what the testing team has been setting up for our conference next week:

Any questions or feedback let us know. This is the first time we've built a setup this extensive and we are considering using this (and expanding) going forward.

I would like to compare how all of them work and program without a WAN connection.

Looks good except the reader on the far left looks crooked! 😉

Now I can't unsee this. *sigh*

We'll get it tweaked. Thanks!

I'm glad to see that I am not the only one afflicted with That Isn't Straight Syndrome (TISS).

You could do what Lenel did years ago, video the evaluation where there were about a hundred cards, sliding back and forth on a screen against about a hundred readers while downloading a panel.

It was impressive. Thousands of transactions per second.

I am familiar with that rig - it was a wall of readers and a piece of plexiglass with cards peg mounted on it would slowly slide over the readers so each card would eventually be lined up over a reader.

If IPVM stress-tests a system, that is a relatively simple method of doing it!

The test reflected you could update a Mercury panel over the network while retaining full functionality. It doesn’t seem like much now, but back then it was a serious benefit for enterprise accounts.

Also, only the changes to the card holder and schedule database for that controller would be transferred.

Added later was a ability to schedule by panel the update day/time since the software already recognized any older versions and would update them.

Compared to replacing chips in Northern panels it was a miracle.
