Any recommendations on stream generator / testing programs to benchtest performance of VMS, Storage and networks?
I have ran across a product from Doo Technologies called X Stream Generator. Anyone have any comments on this product? Any other products out there?
I will be looking to send 400 mbps of video stream towards a single NVR (Virtualized NVR) as part of my stream/VM system testing.
Andrew, there's not a lot of options out there. Axis had (and may still have) their own virtual camera emulator but I have not heard them talk about it in years.
The DOO offering seems interesting. They have no been around for a long time but they do seem to be focused on doing exactly that. It's in our queue for things to look at, maybe this will bump it up.
