Nx Witness / DW Spectrum/ Wisenet Wave Installers Using Dell Optiplex For Serves. Need Advice.
Wisenet Wave/DW Spectrum/Nx Witness installers, who’s using Dell Optiplex PC’s for the server on small 8-16 camera systems? I’ve installed around 20 smaller systems like this. At first I mistakenly used mini PCs with Celeron processors and USB drives. Windows 10/11 pro. The usb drives caused issues so I’ve moved away from that. But these boxes always remain online and worked well. My Splashtop service and the wisenet wave service always stay running.
I then had some PCs built from a company called Bytespeed. They work well for the most part. Some reboots needed from falling offline. Always windows 10/11 pro. But these were bulky and somewhat expensive and overkill for smaller systems.
