Nowadays, How Much Should I Fear Integrating One Manufacturer's VMS With Another's Cameras?

Hi guys,

Need help before taking the wrong path... we're about to present an offer for an airport which has a Pelco VideoXpert VMS (latest), and we have to add PTZs to secure the new perimeter (expansion). Common sense would dictate to avoid trouble and just use Pelco cameras, the problem is the cameras will be spaced 225m and Pelco's longest IR reach is just 200m. And we all know that really means 150m in real life.
