Got an email blast about these products today.

Bullet points:

All cameras are triple codec- H.265, H.64, and MJPEG;

Corridor format;

Wide angle lens models come with optical correction (!);

"Innovative high power IR LED technology" (I don't know what this means exactly but it sounds cool);

Available in fixed lens, varifocal, and motorized lens;

Available in 2MP and 4MP (2720 x 1536);

20FPS at 4MP in H.264 and H.265, 30FPS at 2MP, and 15FPS at MJPEG.

It has a plug in free mode for Chrome and edge. Other browsers also operate in plugin free mode. Allows setup and live viewing from any device.

Responsive Web design for most pages.

The wide angle refers to lensee distortion correction LDC to un-bend the wide angle distortion.

The high power ir refers to using surface mount ir led technology for more even and powerful ir illumination. There are fewer ir leds and they are higher quality, longer life, and have less reflection since they don't have a large curved surface.

There are 24 new models, all with ir, true wdr.

Also included is the new Wisestream smart codec, which works in h.264 and h.265. Dynamic gov and dynamic motion areas are independently configured, as well as dgov for each profile.

Does h.265 streaming require a plug-in?

[Note: Poster is from Hanwha Techwin / Samsung]

Yes, h.265 requires a plug in. Note that previous h.265 model did not stream h.265 via browser, only by api/vms.

Plugin free mode support mjpeg or h.264, depending on the browser.

Not that frame rate and resolution is limited in plugin free mode.

Works great. Tested today on android, iPhone, linux with Firefox, chrome, safari, ie. Edge.
