Networked Input/Output Module

 Hi,

I'm looking for some ideas where I could possibly find an digital I/O module on IP, but specifically being able to be driven/used via ONVIF Profile S.

That's an interesting question.

When an ONVIF S compatible IP camera is equipped with I/O ports, it may satisfy your general application.  Per the 'S' spec:

Notice the spec applies to outputs only - not inputs.

The Profile 'S' (S for Streaming) requirement might be misapplied here.

For example, the Axis P8221 I/O Module does not claim not ONVIF S conformance, but it uses the same VAPIX architecture as devices that are. It's the same for the heavier-duty Axis A9188 Network Relay. 

Those devices are not ONVIF S conformant, but neither of those are 'streaming' devices where the spec mostly applies.
