Mobotix GM Goes To Scallop

A few months after Mobotix's CEO was unceremoniously dumped, Mobotix's Americas GM, Steve Gorski, is exiting as well - another bad sign for the former megapixel leader.

Gorski is going to Scallop Imaging. Recall that Scallop Imaging had its own troubles over the past few years, but Scallop was recently spun out / rebooted.

Scallop has potential, as one of the few companies offering a multi-imager panoramic competitor to Arecont. Plus, Gorski has experience selling panoramics at Mobotix as well as 8 years at Axis prior to that.

This looks like a good move for Scallop but increases the challenges that Mobotix faces.
