Hi Guys
I have a Bosch Dinnion capture 5000 IP camera that will be connected to Milestone 2017 R2.
The camera will be installed on a pole approx 5 meters away from the target area. I'm OK with the angles etc but looking for some pointers on the settings on the camera such as shutter speed etc and what Milestones preferred settings are to get a better read .
The vehicles will be travelling no more than 10 to 20 mph.

The administrators manuals for any of our base software (XProtect Corporate, XProtect Expert, etc.) contain a section devoted to LPR. It covers items such as camera angles, pixels on target, shutter speed, ISO speed, etc. I would strongly suggest reading through that information to ensure everything lines up.
Based on 10-20 mph, you'll need a shutter speed of no less than 1/500. It is also recommended to use MJPEG for the live stream. The manual discusses the other items that need to be taken into account.
