I’m helping a non-profit overseas in setting up an interview room. They already have HIKVision cameras with audio in, so I’m looking for a microphone that would ceiling mount to give them better audio.
I’m primarily considering the Louroe product line. Either a simple mic level mic (Verifact A-ML), or a line level with one of their audio interfaces (Verifact A and IF-1 or IF-PX).
Is the added cost of line level worth it? The HIK’s don’t have AAC unfortunately.
I’ve considered their newer Digifact A network mic, but for my VMS I cannot add the audio RTSP stream to my video stream, which we need for live viewing and easy user exporting.
I’m definitely not a pro, but just looking for some direction. I know the cost different and the install isn’t that complex either route, but I’m trying hard to fit the budget as well as to deploy a solution that could be serviced locally. Some complexity is relative in the developing nation.
