Mic Echo Problem With Dahua IP Camera?

I have a dahua IP camera with builtin mic. I'm having issues with the audio , there's a echo all the time. How can i eliminate it?

A couple of questions to try and get to the bottom of this:

  • What Dahua model is it?
  • Are you using bi-directional audio (talk and listen)? Or just attempting to listen to the mic from the camera?
  • Is there a speaker in/near the camera as well?

That'll help determine where the audio is coming from.

Hi Ethan,

  • The model is IPC-HFW4421EMP-AS
  • Just listen - It's for a reception at a hospital (currently doing test at our office before going to implement next month, echo at our office)
  • Is there a speaker in/near the camera as well? - Not sure

Sorry, It's HDW4421EMP-AS not HFW4421EMP-AS as stated before.
