Memphis Wants To Raise False Alarm Fines

They're voting on an ordinance tomorrow. If it passes, they'll raise the cost of a residential alarm license to $10, charge $50 per false alarm (from $25), and revoke licenses after the 6th false alarm or 3rd false fire alarm.

They also mention that one location, a Pizza Hut, generated 44 false alarms last year, so I can see why they're getting fed up.

Thoughts?
