I have seen on the Ubiquiti switches they show total network traffic. If we had an NVR connected to a switch with several cameras, could we just just stick the Ubiquiti in between the NVR and switch, and measure traffic?
Is there any way to log maximum traffic?
Is there a better way to measure actual traffic going to a NVR? Usually Dahua NVR's
For the unifi line you can with one caveat, you will need a USG to do it. I'm not sure why this is, and it's possible the cloud key could fulfill this function. I can't say for sure with the edge series. I've included pics of both switch only and switch usg. You can get more granular, but I can't screenshot without redacting a ton of info.
