Manufacturer Annual Events, IMO, A Complete Waste

And how about manufacturer annual events for integrators? These tend to be ridiculously costly to attend, incredibly time consuming, and not necessarily a value add in terms of creating more opportunities for sales.

Axis hosted their last event state side on the West Coast. A pain for East Coast travel for sure but close for West Coasters - and was not terribly costly. Genetec is hosting their event in Mexico where flights are very expensive, the local airport is tiny, it takes a full day's travel on both sides, and there is a $250 a night hotel/resort fee.
