So we have been playing around with this LPR setup at this site for a week or two, and had to replace a Uniview with a Speco tag camera due to distance. The Speco had 50MM of zoom v 22 for the Uniview. This shot is 125' from camera to the sidewalk/stop sign.
This video looks great, but am wondering, did the headlights from the vehicles behind assist the camera, or would it have hindered the camera by having too much light reflecting off the plate? The last car has no headlights shining on it, and the tag still looks good.
