Lorex LNR NVR Systems + RTSP Out

Does anyone here know if the Lorex LNR NVR systems has a knob that needs to be switched on in order for the RTSP-out (to third-party devices) function to work?

What I'm trying to do is grab a bunch of thumbnails from the Lorex NVR's using ffmpeg and feeding it to another application. When I try to use the standard RTSP URL construction, the NVR returns a 404 - Not Found. I'm using an RTSP URL that looks something like this:

****://****:****@:***/***/***********?*******=*&*******=*

*** **** **** *** ******* ***** be ******* ***********!
