Island Wide Protection Systems - Looking For Reviews Good & Bad

Morning All,

Please take a look at this website Islandwide Camera Protection Inc

A year ago a tourist was robbed on a beach and the thief was apprehended with the aid of a camera that luckily was covering the same area.

So the thought came, how can we secure our island without have to spend Hundreds of thousands of dollars. I know Milestone and ONSSI etc have software for these types of applications.

We wanted to showcase our island but at the same time have footage in the event of any criminal activity & accidents be it boats or vehicles.

One year later we have been approached by another island and they love what we are doing. The site will get a fresh look eventually as funding the initial setup and designing the software was a lot.

Would love to hear from you guys and even download the free app and maybe even come visit our beautiful beaches.

NOTE: Our ISP did some updates on Sunday and a few cameras are off as the routers were NAT.

Thanks in advance

Dominic, to clarify, you are streaming video of various locations around Barbados? Are you being sponsored by local businesses or the government?

Ari,

We installed all the cameras you see on the website which is streaming 24/7 so yes to your first question. Our goal is to have 200 more by then end of this year. Then 600 more end of next year.

Unfortunately we are not being funded by government. The idea is to have corporate Barbados and other islands to sponsor or Adopt a camera, which as you can see on the site they get a write up and a link back to their website etc. We would even welcome manufacturers security related products to advertise on our site.

Our nWatch (neighborhood Watch) line is receiving a lot of interest.
