Looking For Recommendations On A Hybrid NVR

Hello all, hope everyone is doing well!

I'm looking for recommendations on a reliable NVR that accommodates both BNC/analog cameras and PoE cameras for a friend. His current system is using 4 AHD 4MP cameras, and he's looking to expand his system with an additional 4 cameras for another building. There are numerous Amazon listings for NVRs that come with cameras, but I'm not sure what is most reliable. Itemizing the "needs" here, they are as follows:

• 1 TB HDD.
• 4MP (or higher res.) outdoor rated IR cameras. (His current AHD cams are IR turrets).
• Remote app (which is available with just about everything now).
• More than 8 channels (leaving room for some expansion).
• Price range anywhere between ~$350-$600.

I'm going to help him set it up once it's ordered, but if tech support is possible, that would be an added bonus.
