Aug 09, 2018I have not heard any specific feedback, but a quick run-though of the offering yields some interesting things:
They offer PoE/IP door controllers, which is interesting. The controller also claims onboard battery backup, which is uncommon and potentially useful.
However, reader connection in RS483 or Wiegand only, no OSDP. That's not ideal for high-security or commercial deployments.
Also, the controllers are proprietary to ACX's own software, called X.90 which claims basic function and look essentially undifferentiated from other 'hardware first' ODM providers, but is typically a weak point.
