Importing Autocad To IPVM Calculator?

Hi,

I am using the IPVM Calculator for designing my CCTV system.

Its noted that we cannot import autocad layout in floorpan ?? Since the pdf or JPG image is not suitable for understanding placement of camera

Sandeep, the IPVM calculator does not support importing AutoCAD files, only images and PDFs.

We only investigated the technical issues briefly but it appeared challenging so, while it is a known issue and something we would theoretically like to support, it is down on our list of priorities. My apologies.

However, Autocad can print a PDF and I can be scaled in IPVM

Hello Sandeep -  I believe in every version since R2000 of AutoCAD, you are able to export a drawing as a .pdf.  From there, you can import the .pdf into the calculator.
