I have not heard of them in video surveillance.

That said, EditShare does have a marketing page for "Video Surveillance Storage and Content Management". However, archive.org shows the page is materially unchanged since Nov 2015.

As a general observation, and not specific to Editshare, we have seen many storage companies enter video surveillance for simply the reason that video surveillance requires a lot of storage (typically on-site rather than a data center).
