Looking For Information On Cell Communicator Boosters

Which format signal do the alarm panels use?  3G? 4G?

Cellular boosters really don't work that well in my experience.  They typically just enhance the signal noise and provide much less performance than improving your antenna type or location. Honestly they have seemed more gimmicky than performance based IMHO.

If you can mount a 3 dBi external antenna on the exterior of the panel directly or run a short bit of cable from a bulkhead adapter to a remotely mounted antenna you'll be better off. If you do go remote remember to calculate the loss of the cable to select the appropriate type otherwise you'll just lose all signal over the length of the coax run.
