A customer of mine has one employee whose keyfob keeps going bad (reader wont recognize) after a couple days. Everyone else's fobs are working fine. What can he be doing to it?

It works on all the readers when we give it to him - then after a few days he brings it back and the reader wont recognize it on any readers (won't even light up). I suspect its foul play.

May 22, 2017Interesting we are having an issue like this with Allegion Prox cards. They have about 50 cards not that stopped working and will not read on any readers.

May 22, 2017Foul play is my suspicion, too. My top three are: (1) washing machine; (2) dryer; (3) impact (dropped on, or, thrown at the floor).
Of course, there's always the microwave, though that will normally leave a mark!
