The lens seems to be: Pentax Motorized Zoom

The IR would be off-camera, Raytec or another IR specialist

the camera does not seem so speial, definitely a box camera that would work with the specialty lens above

The 1/77,000 shutter speed seems to be unique to Pelco Sarix line, look into their box cameras to see if there is one with the sensitivity specs listed

So they want a gigantic 660mm lens but only 100m IR illumination? Seems you would want to see a lot farther than 100m with a 660mm lens.

A, good call on the lens and the camera.

What I can't understand about the 1/77,000s shutter speed requirement is that it is irrelevent. What practical difference does it make if the shutter goes to 1/20,000s or 1/50,000s etc?

Of course, it is most likely cut and pasted from a preferred manufacturer's spec sheet.

One other weird thing - I found 5 Pelco 1.3MP box cameras that look close. However, none of them have close to the 0.0008 lux spec included.
