Please suggest a good software that can maintain the credential database, has good card designer and easy to use. I tried several different programs and Magicard TrustID Pro seems not bad. I'm wondering if someone can suggest a better tool for everyday card printing and sometimes batch upgrades like 100 cards.

Which access platform(s) are you using?  Integrating the badge designer into the access system is often important to prevent double-entry of routine data.

Do you need to encode magstripes or print barcodes/ QR codes with it?

I have Keyscan, RBH and Hikvision. All new panels are Hik and, eventually, I will replace tge legacy equipment with Hik panels. I print barcodes, no magstripes

My favorite badging program is Lenel On-Guard but I don’t know I would use it just for that.

The ability to create one card, that can vary appearance 99.9% based on the fields you enter into the database, automatically insert and increase card issue information and more made it really cool to use and sell.

I do not work for Lenel or any reseller of Lenel products!

HID's Assure ID software is very good. But almost never use it, because, as others have said, it almost always makes more sense to use the badging features built into the access platforms because they make use of the data already entered in the system.

I agree, but I need a third-party software as I have 3 different manufacturers and one of them (Hik) doesn't provide any design/printing software at all, RBH and Keyscan are very basic and not easy to use. It's typical for the hardware companies especially in security area to not have UI/UX specialists.

I've used HID's AsureID in the past.  It was generally bug-free and well supported then, and had the option to export internal data via excel or OOBC.

They offer a 30-day download trial, it might be work looking at in your case.
