I have onvif compliant NVRs that store camera recordings. Through my application, I need to pull recording of a specified duration from the NVR (user will give from and to date/time) . I use onvif commands to get the recording list from the NVR, then get the ReplayUri for the specific camera. I use this rtsp url to fetch the recording by specifying the start and end times. The NVR gives the stream as if it is a live stream - so if user asks for 4 hour duration recording, it takes 4 hours to get the full recording into my application. Please advise if there is any faster or better way to get the recording from the NVR?
