Kantech USB-RS485 Problems - Panels Losing Communication

We have a customer that has (4) panels and (1) server running Kantech. The (2) panels that are communicating via IP at another site never have a problem. However the (2) panels that are connected directly to the server via USB-RS485 converter have a problem almost everyday. The problem is that the panels lose communication.

I have tried the following things:
