Japanese Chipmaker Apologizes For Supplying Hikvision

Scrutiny of Hikvision globally has grown, e.g. earlier this month Hikvision Cameras In Norway A "Scandal" and now a case in Japan.

The Japan Uyghur Association tore down a panoramic Hikvision camera and found 7 different Japanese chipmakers supplying chips, flash memory, sensors, and other parts to Hikvision, despite Hikvision's record on Xinjiang human rights abuses.
