Jeff, are there any specific category / product types or applications that you are particularly interested in?

Well we are system integrators dealing with mostly CCTV. Cameras/software. I know last year Axis released there ACC software which was pretty big at the event. Just along those lines of new up and coming stuff that you will think will be relevant to the future in our industry.

Jeff, it's a bit early to make suggestions for new releases at ISC West as it's still more than 2 months away.

Each year, we do a new products review starting 2 weeks before and then coverage from the show floor.

In about a month, ISC West will release a list of entrants for new product awards which should give a glimpse of some of the new stuff at the show. However, traditionally, the biggest news is announced 1 or 2 weeks before the show (e.g. Axis ACC last year).

I'd like to see less expensive intercomm systems and more integration of them into VMS and access lines. It'd also be great if the industry as a whole announced some realistic, neutral certification standards and platform interoperability standards, but I'm not going to hold my breath on that.
