I am in the process of trying to make our wiring job more professional. It was suggested then when running multiple runs of cat5 for different items (data, cameras, etc..), we should support them using J hooks and D rings and have separate ones for the different wire colors.
And we should do this even in a drop ceiling environment and even when we can tuck the wires very high up. One of my senior techs says that this is a waste of time and money and there is no reason why we just can't tuck the wires in very high up and have them rest on beams, etc..
