Recently, we received a notification from a member saying his email notifications were intermittently toggled off. Many IPVM members might have experienced something similar.

We did some research and discovered that some spam scanners will scan emails, and follow any link found in the emails to scan their contents for malware. Since our unsubscribe links don't require users to sign in, but rather use unique embedded tokens to identify and unsubscribe users, we suspect these spam scanners may have followed the unsubscribe links and unintentionally unsubscribed members.
