Access Control Added IPVM Design Calculator

IPVM has released Access Control in the Design Calculator, which was launched a few months ago, and we have continued to fine-tune it since. It offers 13 brands and 38 models of access controllers currently, and we are adding new models weekly.

The system is limited to 4-door controllers, due to the UI complexity of supporting more than this. This will currently support a significant portion of access control designs.

The Door Configuration Panel tracks the number of readers and inputs/outputs being used so that a system is not incorrectly specified. Further, it supports wire and device types, though specific reader/lock/door contact models are not being offered:

In addition to the main IP door controllers, we added serial and IP connected Expansion controllers, to support complex access control designs (in addition to previously added network devices):

Calculator In Maintenance Mode

IPVM is not currently not planning any new features for the Design Calculator for now and is being managed in maintenance mode. Bug fixes and troubleshooting support will continue.
