Has anyone seen or dealt with a hik/oem camera that has "lost" its substream?
I have seen this on a few different models. When I go into my hik nvr it says "the camera does not support the function". Other cameras substream on the nvr are working fine. I have had this issue a few times.
This is most likely due to having the sub stream higher than the camera's capabilities
Higher than 1024 kb per second. If you log into the camera and set it under that You should regain Substream.
I have not thought of that ,thank you. I will try to mess around with the Kbps settings
although all the cameras on this NVR have the same sub stream settings and they are all working ...
