Intransa Management Software Query

Fellow IPVM'rs....

While working at a customer site recently adding one of our own storage systems, they asked about configuring an ST350 they had to add another initiator to that storage device.

Not being familiar with Intrasa details other than it is an ISCSI target, I asked them what they had available to interact with the system. Well...they said it was a piece of software that came on the CD with the servers...which they could not locate. (OK..all you fathers and mothers out there quit laughing).

So being a nice guy,I am trying to help them out of a jam.

I am simply asking anyone here if they have or know someone who has, a copy of the Intransa storage management software for Windows that they could send to me?

Well...it turns out that a direct connection to the unit allows one to configure the iSCSI space as long as the user did not change (and forget) the password. Fortunately...these guys left the factory default.

sorry.... we never knew.   A direct connection to the units was what allowed us to gain access.

We converted the Intransa units into regular iSCSI appliances for our customer.

It was not easy but I figured it out.
