Installing Ethernet In 3 Story Apartment Complex

How would an installer get ethernet in an attic of a 3 story apartment complex down to the first floor of the apartment complex?Assume you must start in the attic and go from the attic through the 3rd floor unit to the 2nd floor unit and then to the 1st floor unit. All units are stacked and the floorplans are the same.

What kind of drills and equipment would needed to get this done? Can it be done without cutting sheetrock? Are there drills that can drill down an entire floor safely and reliability? I assume it would have to be a 10ft or longer bit to make it through a floor.
