I have a customer that recently purchased a Genetec VMS system with Veracity ColdStore arrays for long-term storage. They have had nothing but troubles from the system since it was installed.
I'm in the very beginning phase of figuring out the problems, but I do not have any experience with the ColdStore product. I have heard a couple of stories about integrators replacing these units for more traditional RAID storage, but I have no first-hand knowledge.
