Although Donald Trump's recent polarizing remarks on immigration have upset many, one company who has good reason to overlook the controversy is IC Real Tech, sister company to the well known security company IC Realtime.
Trump's remarks have caused the NBC network to cancel broadcast of Sunday's pageant. Instead, it will be televised on Reelz, a cable channel with significantly less cachet as well as viewers.
All this bodes well for IC Real Tech as they had already been preparing to stream live a 3 camera, 4K, 720 degree immersive experience of the event.
They have created a mobile app for the immersive view experience, and it's pretty darn good, judging from the way it handles the pre-recorded dress rehearsals that the app lets you play now.
Ethan was less than impressed with the technology when he got a live demo, but then again content is king.
Whether it will be able to handle the traffic live is another question altogether...
