Wouldn't it be nice to install a camera that had some of the features one gripes about when installing a camera that falls short in the design facet of camera features? Most housings/cases seem reverse engineered and awkward. I will use this post as motivation to design a better mousetrap.

Do You Think Designing My Own Camera 'Housings' Is A Good Idea?

Dec 08, 2014All I know is Parson Technology produces housings that look like animals, and everyone goes nuts... until they find out they cost several thousand bucks.
So a key variable to be controlled here is product cost. Unfortunately, people do not seem fired up to buy housings that cost much more than stock 'awkward' designs.
