We continually get our butt kicked by a hollow metal door and frame that will work great in the morning or evening but when the suns warms it up in summer or winter it doesn't latch. I can't be the only one with this issue - so could someone please shed some light on how to properly handle this???

How To Deal With Hollow Metal Doors And Changing Temps
Brian Rhodes
Nov 16, 20161. Look at the hinges - can you refix them to resquare the door in the frame?
2. Look at the strike box (the part where the lock latch inserts into the frame): can that plate/opening be adjusted to let the latch operate better?
3. Is there/can you put a hydraulic door closer on the opening?
In my experience adjusting the hinges/strike plate usually fixes these issues.
