How Rapidly Are Video Camera Prices Dropping? Reolink And Wyze Seem Cheap & High Functionality?

I'm wondering what the usual pace of yearly camera price decline is and whether its accelerated in the last 2 years. Wyze has a $20 product that, on paper, has decent specs. Reolink has outdoor grade products for $200 that claim high end functionality as well. Over the next 3 years, won't companies like this create a significant arms race to the floor?
