How Often Do You See The VMS Viewer Used In Remote Desktop Environments?

How often do you use or have deployed the VMS viewer application in a remote desktop environment? Granted, you don't get as good a viewing experience in a remote desktop vs running the application directly installed on the workstation. For example, the video is more choppy in a remote desktop session. But the pros are is it makes it more easily to access remotely, without having to install it, and the viewer app is usually more feature rich than the web browser interface.

Are there any VMS viewer applications you found that don't work in a remote desktop? Or some that work better than others?
