has anyone deployed Honeywell performance series surveillance solutions? if so, how good are they in comparison to the likes of Avigilon, bosch or even Hik both in their technical performance and value for money?

Jun 16, 2016Personal opinion it is not worth the slightly higher cost, compared to other OEMs. Their HQA line is Dahua. The older HRGx line is Hik. I haven't used the HQA but the past experiences with the HRG and it's predecessor HRDP were not favorable. They are OK but Honeywell's version of the interface, web view etc left wasn't very good. If you need the name it's just ok.

Jun 16, 2016We tested the Performance Series HQA line. It was practically identical to Dahua in performance, but it's supported by Honeywell and ADI does over the counter returns on it.
We haven't formally tested it, but I've had some hands on with the IP Performance Series, and it seems nearly identical to Dahua as well.
They're both more expensive than Dahua itself, but if the returns, support, and Honeywell name are factors for you, it's an option.
